CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) CREDITS:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).  THE Pennsylvania Department of Health is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  The Pennsylvania Department of Health designates this educational activity for up to 12 hours AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

RN CONTINUING EDUCATION OR ACT 48 CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR SCHOOL PERSONNEL:

This educational activity is designated for up to 12 hours of RN Continuing Education AND Act 48 Continuing Education for School Personnel. Pursuant to Act 48 OF 1999, Section 1205.2 (PROGRAM OF CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION) (D), the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Public Health Preparedness, is an approved provider of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  The Pennsylvania Department of Health is an approved provider of Continuing Education for Registered Nurses in Pennsylvania under Act 58 OF 2006 AND 49 PA CODE, CHAPTER 21 § 21.134 (CONTINUING EDUCATION SOURCES) of the Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Nursing.

Up to 12.75 CEs will be awarded for completion of this course.  NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), marriage and family therapists (Section 48.36), and Professional Counselors (Sections 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
